The 2011 Speed Triple was redesigned with a new twin-tube frame, the engine tilted and moved forward, a lighter wet weight, restyled bug-eye headlights and new Showa suspension. Power stayed the same as 2010 but mid-range torque improved, and ABS and tyre pressure monitoring were offered as options.
